We, Anneke and Ger, from B&B aan de Itterbeek live our lives every day as much as possible with attention to the things around us. We enjoy taking care of ourselves, each other and the people around us. We strive to provide a warm home for our family and our friends. We want to expand the offer of a warm home. That is why the choice to start a Bed and Breakfast.
In mid-2020 we bought our new home in Ittervoort. This house offers great possibilities, in which we keep a part for a B&B. This beautiful and characteristic house is part of a former farm of over 100 years old.
The former farm was in need of a renovation. First of all, we did a lot of work on the living area of our house. Immediately afterwards we started our B&B with the same care and attention. We have renovated and furnished this part with great enthusiasm.
B&B aan de Itterbeek owes its name to the river “De Itterbeek”. The Itterbeek is a tributary of the Meuse, which flows through the provinces of Limburg, both in Dutch Limburg and Belgian Limburg. The Itterbeek has a length of about 30 km and a fall of about 45 meters. In Thorn there is also a short sidearm along the village center: the Thornerbeek. We think the name is very fitting, because our garden borders the Itterbeek. From the luxury studio you can easily walk down to this river with its extensive history.
We have been looking forward to opening the luxury studio of Bed & Breakfast Aan de Itterbeek for so long and now the time has finally come. We are now open to offer our guests a pleasant and relaxing stay. Where you can enjoy a characteristic and luxurious studio in a 60s / 70s atmosphere. Enjoy the relaxing and healing private infrared sauna and a tasty breakfast.
